Lotus Eaters was created by the Designer Aris Tolios as a lifestyle brand. In Ancient Greek times, the Lotus fruit was eaten which gave those who ate the fruit a feeling of euphoria and a different way of understanding their existence. Lotus Eaters the brand follows this philosophy. Those who will wear Lotus Eaters will feel complete, unique, confident comfortable whith themselves - a feeling of EUPHORlA.
Fabrics are created by Artisans and the Designer to fit the designs, to make them unique and special, using old family techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation bringing us back to our grass roots, to bring that special garment to the retail sector.
All production is made in Greece.
Designer Thoughts
My thoughts are influenced by harmony and conflict. The beauty of mayhem, the ugliness of classical beauty, the impact of icons in the world, the common human need of love, peace and war, the relationship between the light and dark forces of the world.
Each range that I create comes together with all of this in mind, a Lotus Eaters way of thinking: DIZZY and ECSTATIC. Please enjoy.
Designer Bio
He was born in Drama, Northern Greece.
He studied Sociology at Panteion University of Athens and continued with Fashion Design and Endymatology studies.
He has cooperated with large-scale clothing Companies for 22 years as Head Designer, as well as he continued his studies in Psychology with special training in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy (CBP).
He went to China where he collaborated with Companies in Yangzhou, Shanghai, Hong Kong as Fashion Consultant.
He is the Founder of Lotus Eaters representing a proposal for alternative clothes design, aiming to combine the new point of view on the structural form of clothes with high quality, everyday comfort and polymorphism.
